I was very happy about this product and was immediately disappointed. I have used Microsoft ergonomic keyboards in the past and have used a Logitech wireless keyboard/mouse for many years. For some reason this keyboard skips keystrokes. Mine was particularly awful with "N". The backspace key was also "slow" if you pressed it 5 times, 4 were instant and the 5th keypress finally happened. I am an IT network engineer and know my way around PCs. I unplugged everything I could from my USB ports to try and find a solution, even putting the USB receiver key on the table. I personally think there is too much going on. The numeric keypad, keyboard, and mouse are likely speaking on the same frequency and it gets mixed up. I don't think I had any problems with the mouse and numeric keypad. Both were very responsive. The keyboard is known to have problems here. Although I really wanted it to work I had to send it back. I was hoping the 'N' key would break and get better, but it seems to have gotten even worse. I hooked up my trusty old Logitech keyboard and mouse combo and the difference is between day and night. I'm not sure if they have a ton of defective units or if they're all bad, but there are a lot of negative reviews online about the same keyboard lag issues. I hope they release a revision 2 or a new model soon. I also found that I never got used to the mouse. I would still put my hand on the table for better control and since the mouse is so BIG it would actually flex my wrist more and cause more pain. I know I misjudged it, but other than that I lost a lot of control.
