I like a good rechargeable lithium battery torch. I particularly like that it has XP-L2 LEDs (6 LEDs) with high light output (up to 6000 lumens) with excellent light reflection, well-focused reflector and clear tempered glass lens. It uses two 26650 3.7V 5000mAh rechargeable Li-ion batteries. It comes with 2 and one charger with a cord that I just need to plug into my own 5V USB phone charger. The charger shows me when the batteries are fully charged. This may take some time as each has an impressive 5000mAh capacity. TIP: I recommend using a good quality silicone grease on the o-rings to protect them from wear and tear from constantly unscrewing the end cap to pull the batteries out to charge. . This will also make the strands waterproof. I am very grateful to the seller for the extra 2 O-rings. It uses good aluminum construction. It doesn't roll away when I put it down. It got noticeably hot after a few hours of use at super (maximum) intensity, but it emits plenty of light. It feels comfortable in the hand, is compact but very bright. Instead of the usual Hi-Lo SOS flashlight accessed by repeated button presses, it uses a 4-position brightness selection ring (and OFF) that rotates rotates to select the desired light intensity. I REALLY loved it! No repeatedly pressing the button to get the light you want, no SOS/strobe lights. It is waterproof IPX8; Although I don't dive, I use a flashlight in the rain, it's reassuring. This flashlight is very well made from aircraft grade aluminum and the batteries are top notch. Overall, it's great value for money!
