For those confused with addressing, please read below!

Firstly, it's a great little OLED display that suits me perfectly! I've noticed that many reviews say the addresses are wrong/misleading, which I think is due to a misunderstanding of the I2C protocol. I2C uses 7-bit addressing (values 0x00-0x7F), but to find the correct address, take the address shown (0x78 or 0x7A), convert it to binary (01111000 or 01111010), remove the least significant bit (far right , enter 0111100 or 0111101) and convert it back to hexadecimal (0x3C or 0x3D). If you are using an Arduino most libraries will do this conversion for you as 0x3C is usually the default address so no worries.

Pros
  • Durable finish
