Lamps worked. They were bought for my 2003 Harley Sportster 1200, both brake lights and turn signals. While the bulb could be plugged into my brake light socket (cat's eye taillight) and used, these bulbs cannot be used with standard Harley turn signals. This is because the lamps have a metal lip at the top of the base where it connects to the lamp assembly. This metal base has a raised lip that prevents the bulb from being fully inserted into the turn signal socket making it unusable for my application. Make sure you have enough room around the edges of the bulb socket before ordering, or swap out the stock turn signals entirely.
