Bought a drunk night, standard shipping. Arrived in 2 days which is great! The packaging was very pretty and I was happy to open it. The metal case was well made, but the #1 red flag sounded muffled when you tapped it. The installation instructions say the wires should be connected to the IAT (Intake Air Temperature) sensor wires, red flag #2. It says it doesn't matter which wires go where there isn't a positive or negative. Red Flag #3 Supposedly suitable for any car. Different vehicles require different specification changes. A 4-cylinder engine cannot handle the same changes as a bored 8-cylinder engine. At this point I thought about sending it back, but if I did I wouldn't know for sure. So I ripped it open to see what's inside. Luckily it wasn't empty. Unfortunately it wasn't a power chip (they usually plug into your ECU), what I found inside was a resistor mod. Essentially, your ECU pretends that the air entering the engine is colder than it actually is, which in turn delivers more fuel. It does this by slowing down the electrical current coming from your IAT sensor, hence the resistance. Most modern cars have a mass air flow sensor that measures more than just temperature anyway, so it probably won't do much for most. (It might be possible on an older machine, but I don't know, I'm not a doctor.) Conclusion. Check out different ways to increase performance, it's not worth your money or time.
