You're kidding!: Headphones

Such a sound for such a price?! You're kidding! Much has been said and written about these benches, but the fact is that this is perhaps the best offering for an analytical, accurate and neutral sound. What it is is a really long story, but let me tell you, you'll hear things with them that you've probably never heard before. Class A), which is obviously more than enough for my 600 ohm version. I actually have two pairs of cans, and yes the amp is driving them both at insanely high levels at the same time with the cable splitter! The wearing comfort could hardly be better. I use them late at night for movies and after two hours they are still very comfortable, soft, correct pressure, not hot at all. The build quality is sincerely 4/5. You don't get outstanding headphones for this price but that says they are solid, with good metalwork and overall very, very good at this price point. Yes. Metal. Wow. and sound. we all hear differently, but you have to be able to hear. Detail. This baby will separate the details that keep the mids and lows tight, and at this price point that's incredible. Most people seem to be concerned about whether it sounds shrill or "missing" the bass. I would say that you should check what type of recorded material you are listening to. People tend to forget that there are so many poorly received albums out there and these banks are telling you exactly that. So detailed, so insightful. At first I found the bass to lack 'punch' but after endless experimentation with different musical material and EQ settings the conclusion is that the bass is there, in fact it's all there, just in a very controlled way. It's hard to explain, but let's say "neutral" because we don't have a better word. Very studio. In fact, I have studio monitors and a Yamaha HS8 subwoofer, so I appreciate the neutral sound. So who should buy them? First off, if you don't have an amp, stick with the 30 and 250 ohm versions. 600 ohms REQUIRES an amp and a point or you won't be able to get the decent sound levels and bank control you need. These glasses are for serious music lovers who don't mind being served the truth instead of soup. While you may be disappointed that certain music you previously thought sounded good suddenly sounds so-so, the real reward is that you discover so much while listening. With good recording material you will be amazed to hear vocals and instruments. The soundstage is so-so, but I think one should be fair and not compare these cans to 5-10 times more expensive ones. My favorite music for them is jazz, classical, lounge, recorded blues and with them a film with Blow Your Mind! I listen to quite a bit of electronic/house music that sounds great but don't expect the enjoyment you get from a solid pair of speakers but that's the nature of this type of music. Open up headphones so you have to avoid noisy places and you can hear what's playing even if you're sitting a reasonable distance away. On the other hand, I like that you can hear what's happening out there in the world, for example when someone is talking to you. Fantastic cans at an unbelievably low price.
