a serrated knife works great, but I don't always get a clean cut.
Why didn't I buy these a few years ago? I bake pretty well. Cakes are a great wish. Yes, a serrated knife works well, but I don't always get a clean top cut. It just makes it so easy and even! According to the product description, it cuts cakes up to 10 inches. I baked 11 inches and it worked perfectly. as the cakes tend to rise and the dome gets bigger towards the center. Mine came in perfect condition, zero defects.
