The microphone is very robust. It has an ON/OFF button at the base and is very easy to use. An assembly is not required. The swivel cord is VERY strong and the part of the mic you speak into will be right where you want it. The lights would be better if they were just blue, but they're not too flashy. The USB cable is long, albeit thin. As for sound quality, I use it for general computing, not gaming. At first I thought the microphone input audio was too low during recording, but then I realized that my input volume was set very low. It could be a combination of both (the microphone is quiet and the computer settings are wrong). But overall the sound was good when I changed the settings! Haven't used it for Zoom yet but I think it will work fine. If you are looking for a good buy at a great price, this mic is for you.
