This product is great for adding extra USB ports and a card reader to my laptop while also allowing me to output video to an external monitor. Unfortunately I could not achieve a 4k@60hz resolution. I contacted the seller and they responded to my problem quickly and worked with me. We were able to determine that my USB-C port does not support DP1.4 which has the extra bandwidth needed to run all the functions of this hub. After calling my laptop supplier (Dell), I was able to confirm that my USB-C port is DP1.2 only, so I can only get 4k@30hz from this adapter. I use it because I primarily work with spreadsheets and other office documents, and this adapter gives me the extra USB ports I need to connect more peripherals while working from home. I certainly can't fault the vendor for a lack of functionality based on my poor laptop specs - which explains why Dell is asking over $200 for a docking station that can run at 4k@60Hz.
