I bought these after buying a pair of kitsch and wanted a cheaper option. If you're wondering the same thing, here's my take. For reference, I have WASP medium length fine hair. These rubber bands work. The band is looser than I would like. I used two of these from the set and both felt like they would fall out without a second loop. I pull my hair into a messy bun and it slides out without a second loop/twist, whatever you want to call it. My problem is that adding a second twist creates unnecessary tension in my hair. But they are great at absorbing water, and they go great with a microfiber towel. Not only are they a bit narrower and less stretchy, but they're also very cheesy. don't mind the added stress/breakage, they may like them but for me I wouldn't buy them again but I wouldn't return them either. These are good elastics for mid-range towels.
