I have been following the development of this remote control for a long time, I bought it as soon as the possibility of learning was added. My Acer projector remote turns on perfectly, and through the script I was able to set up a double-click to turn off. However, the remote control was bought primarily to control the fan, and then a complete fiasco. The smart remote control learns the commands of the fan remote control, but does not want to work in any way - the commands simply do not work. However, if you quickly and long tap on the command button in the application, then at some point in a random order the command may work. It's impossible to guess this moment, so sequentially giving the command in the plural through the script does not help either. I do not know what it is connected with - the fan is fully operational, it understands the commands of its remote control. It's a shame, given that the description for the smart remote does not say anywhere that the remote may not work with any type of technology, as well as there are no stated requirements for the object of technology in addition to the presence of the IR receiver itself. (If anyone is interested, the fan model is Electrolux EFF-1000i, perhaps this review will save its owners from a useless purchase)
