Ideal for listening to 2 audio sources with one headset

I work in an office and wanted to be able to hear my computer sound along with music from my iPhone using just one set of headphones. Headphones. So I bought this cable, plugged one end into each device and plugged my headphones into the jack. Perfect! I'd agree that this isn't great for combining audio sources for recording, but for this everyday purpose, this weird little Y-cable was *exactly* what I needed.
