This product replaced a Trendnet Displayport KVM switch that I hated so much I paid money to have it replaced. In short, the device works well and is reliable, expandable, looks good and has no annoying features. You should be careful with other reviews of this product as it seems like Revain merged all reviews for Iogear KVM Switches and most reviews have nothing to do with this device. I have 3 computers that needed to be switched and two monitors. This unit is expandable so you can control up to 4 monitors by adding a second unit. I didn't need that kind of flexibility and didn't appreciate it until the pandemic when my wife started working from home and her job required 3 screens and the 4th was a bonus. That expandability was a real bonus, which is nice because you never know when you'll need it. The device remembers how you arrange the screens. I position and scale some screens to open on one monitor and others open on other monitors. When you switch between computers, turn them on and off, all programs open the same way. Nothing needs to be reconfigured. No annoying or distracting features like flashing lights like I had with my Trendnet device. Unobtrusive at home or in the office. It costs more than other devices but you get the cables included and it saves a lot of money including the item if you have to buy them yourself. The Displayport cables need to be longer, but the rest of the cables are fine. I didn't use speaker output or microphone input, so I can't comment on that. Keyboard, mouse and monitors are recognized immediately. It also looks beautiful, which is important since you look at it every day.
