Exceptional value! Now 2 years later!

I've used much more expensive laser rangefinders. Until now, I believed nothing could outshine Bushnell. In my experience [one day ownership] this wins without a doubt. At the same time, we used high-quality Bushnell. Both devices read the same. The accuracy corresponds to that of a more expensive device. The owner of the Bushnell device is the average golfer who relies heavily on its accuracy; and therefore very skilful in execution. I'm not very skilled. I've had trouble getting accurate readings with all other laser rangefinders in the past. This is not the case with this device. The main difference of this device is that it is attached to a pin flag. This device has 3 modes. For my purposes only the golf mode is important. In golf mode, simply press and hold the power button to the left or right of the stylus. Then move the crosshair to the opposite side of the flag and then back to the flag. The finder recognizes that the flag is in the foreground and records this distance. The built-in slope calculator gives you two readings: straight line and slope distance. It will also vibrate when snapped onto the flag and a small flag icon will appear as well. This makes it harder to get incorrect readings [and allows you to get a distance quickly and confidently]. Updated Over 1 Year: This Device Continues to Exceed Expectations! I have friends who have devices that cost three times as much. Your units are not faster. I probably play 36 holes a week and usually charge it overnight every month. I have never received a low battery warning. While Bushnell devices can have long battery life, 2 of my friend's devices ran out of battery during our round. The optics are adjustable for my receiver and very clear. Questions. The optics remain sharp and the accuracy reliable. Since using it, I can now see some of the great features of this device. First, this device vibrates when it senses your distance. Batteries have a long life between charges. On newer golf carts you can plug it into the golf cart's USB port if needed, although I never found it necessary between charges. I have used this device an average of 3 times a week for 2 years. I usually load it up every 36-72 holes simply because it's easy and I don't risk running out. I still find it more accurate and less expensive than the more expensive big brands that some of my gaming partners use. I added an inexpensive magnetic lid so it snaps onto the golf cart frame for easy access.

Pros
  • Flag lock with vibration: When the flag distance is locked, the machine will vibrate automatically.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
