This product was easy to install. The instructions are well written and if you follow them, no problem. Because the screw holes in the truck bed are unthreaded, you must use the self-tapping screws that are included in the box. According to the instructions, it is best to drive in the screws with a drill, this reduces the effort required when screwing in the screws. The only thing I can recommend, as has happened to me, is to install these panels before adding some of the collapsible tonneau covers as the cover canister prevents direct access to the upper prop bay at the front of the cabin. Attempting to turn a self-tapping screw with limited space for even a ratchet wrench is challenging. This isn't the product's fault, just a tip as I probably spent 1/2 hour on 1 screw due to the lid canister getting in the way. I purchased quality black Ford mounting clips and they fit the bracket perfectly. One thing I noticed is that sliding the mounting brackets in is difficult when the plates are bolted tightly to the truck bed. I had to loosen the screws a bit to get the zip ties in or out. It's ok, FYI if you put the plates in first then try to insert the zip ties and it doesn't work, just loosen the screws, install the zip ties and then tighten the screws.
