I would give this mug a 5 but I wasn't very impressed with the lid. It's not as thick and hard as I thought it would be. I wasn't expecting it to be as durable as the Yeti, but it's thin and pretty cheap. We've had trouble sliding from open to closed and back again. It's not a smooth movement at all. My 6 year old daughter would have to ask me to open it for her. My 2 year old doesn't use a cup with a lid because of this. On the other hand, it is easy to hand wash. I wouldn't put that in the dishwasher. Of course, since it's stainless steel, it's not recommended for use in the microwave. The design is bold and bright, and the bottom of the mug is covered with a thick anti-slip layer. Overall a good mug for kids but I wish the lid was a little better.
