ATTENTION! They have no cooling ends so you can hold hot curlers without getting burned when wrapping your hair around the curlers. I used to use hot rollers on my hair every day so I know what I'm doing with it. What was my surprise when I bought it for my daughter and tried to use it. Good thing I already knew how to use them as the booklet that came with them didn't have any instructions on how long to leave them and the indicator on the reel, which was supposed to turn from red to white when the reels were hot, didn't is working. Red from the start but was white right out of the box and never changed color so it didn't show anything. Before these curlers, I thought that all curlers had a cool storage feature on the end of each curler so you could hold it to put it in your hair because how else are you supposed to pick up something hot enough to burn to burn? use them? We had an important event that needed curls or I wouldn't even try using them when I realized there was no tight end to hold while curling my hair! I managed to get them in after each roll had first cooled on a hot plate, which of course meant they were too cool to curl well when they were cool enough to handle. The curls were actually the result - they just didn't last more than 2 hours without sagging. Good hot curlers should result in curls that last all day if you have natural curls in your hair like my daughter did. I was even able to sleep at night and the next day I had curls with good hot curlers that aren't. What idiot designed hot reels with no cooling function at the end of the reels? I would love to see the designer try to apply this to himself. Clearly unverified quality. Buy them at your own risk as you can get second degree burns on your fingertips!
