Once again, I'm wondering where all these rave reviews are coming from. Firstly, this device makes a very pleasant clicking sound that is a little weird. However, it does not kill insects. It appears to be a non-lethal solution, likely devised by a pacifist entomologist. Each side of the electrified metal has a safety net in the middle. The mesh is very tight and the bugs rarely hit the electrified part and will most likely just bounce off the outside making it look more like a fly swatter than a zipper. So you have to rock really hard hoping to push the bugs through the mesh causing the battery cover to slide off. If you happen to kill a bug, it'll just stun it, then it'll get back up, taunt you, fly off, and sprinkle some poo on half the sliced avocado while you're not looking.
