These side tables are easy to assemble and very durable. They add a chic touch to any room. I accidentally learned that the surface of these scratches is REALLY plain. I used a paper napkin to remove some of the fingerprints and now I have a nice swirly pattern on the top of the side table. You really need to caress the surface. Just a soft cloth and I would highly recommend using a can of air or something similar before attempting to wipe down the table. In a little-used room, no one will notice, but I know it's there and it's annoying.
