I don't trust reading.
I bought this because my cb750a idles too high and I wanted an accurate RPM reading (rather than just relying on the sound) to help me troubleshoot the problem. So far the readings I'm getting don't make any sense as they jump almost instantly, for example I'm getting a reading around 850 and then 12-1300. play with it but don't expect much.
