BEWARE. Raven has been updated. The item was received with many scratches on the screen. Part of the upgrade process is to HIDE the damage. The screen has been covered with a protective film specially designed to hide any damage. It wasn't a standard screen protector, ending about 8 inches from the edge of the screen. Instead, it runs to the edge of the screen and includes black bars at the top and bottom, covering the area around the speaker and button. Since you can't usually buy these parts in the aftermarket, I have to include them in the design to conceal the damage. Incidentally, we also got an iPhone XR via a refurbished Revain and it had a similar screen protector that went all the way to the edge and was darkened in areas where the screen would have been black. In this case, I used a tactor to put a regular clear disc on the phone and didn't see any air bubbles or scratches through the protective film, so I decided to keep it to myself. Be careful if you buy one of these, be sure to remove the included Revain-enhanced screen protector and take a close look underneath. You may decide you want to use your 90 day return window and buy another phone. Furthermore, with 90% battery remaining, the phone is in good condition and works perfectly. Due to the blatant attempt to deal high damage, I'm only giving it two stars because it feels a bit sneaky.
