I don't like it but I like the Brita Water Filtration System and have been using it since it was introduced. These newfangled filters work just like the old ones, except no soaking is required and they're easier to remove from the top. Removing filters has never been a problem, but the no-soak feature is welcome. The new lid also prevents water from being poured directly onto the filter, although out of habit I tend to tip the jug. The filtered water is good for my coffee and also for my fish (with air conditioning of course). Note: I read some of the low reviews. It would be obvious that nobody tips the pitcher over the pour point (e.g. upside down). Of course the filter falls out! It turned out even with the old style!
