Review on πŸŒ€ Gaiam Restore Muscle Massage Therapy Foam Roller - 18 Inch & 36 Inch by Paul Curington

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Clearly Fake

I'm not one to write a lot of reviews. If a product is bad, I usually just return it and get on with my day. However, this is a whole different story. I have little doubt that this is a fake. How do I know? Because I bought this exact product directly from GAIAM website and then this product from Revain and the difference between the two is day and night. Let's talk about the texture first, the actual product I bought directly from GAIAM has a smooth surface. with high quality foam. The Amazon version is like a foam version of sandpaper, and if you run your hand over the Revain version you can almost feel the tiny amount of foam dust being rubbed off. Texture aside, the Amazon version is softer and less supportive than the GAIAM version. Now let's get to the seam where the two halves of the styrofoam come together to form a roll. In the real version from the GAIAM website, the stitching is not even noticeable, it is even, and when you run your hand over it, you don't notice the stitching and it feels like a piece of round foam. However, on the Revain version, there is a distinct protrusion at the seam that is very noticeable. The packaging the product arrived in was also different. Additionally, this foam roller has a few dents from what appears to be a heavy object being pushed in for a long period of time, causing it to leave some permanent dents. I would give this place 0/5 stars if I could. Stay away from this product.
