The box I received was torn and crushed. It came in an envelope which must have been placed on it when shipped. When I opened it bits and pieces got lost in the bag. It wasn't quite ready for gifts yet. If I bought it as a gift I would send it back. A spiral is bent. I don't actually have a foil cutter. I had enough working parts to make it work. I ended up getting another set with a holder and I use it as a backup. 4 out of 5 stars if everything arrived intact. Works very well and is easy to use. You don't have to work to remove the cork. That's pretty intuitive. It's as easy as getting little bunny ears to hug a bottle. Essentially you lower the level, the jack, and the spiral goes into the cork, you raise it and it pulls the cork out. If you love wine, chances are you will need one of these in your life.
