Based on Japanese standard color code JIS C1610-1981 (polarity issue) but works great with Makerbot
This cable is based on Japanese standard color code JIS C1610-1981 - MakerBot uses American standard ANSI 96.1. The color codes are completely different in polarity! This cable works with the Makerbot, but you must understand that the RED cable should be treated like the yellow cable when installing it in the printer. Conversely, the WHITE wire with the BLUE connector should be connected to the RED connector on the Makerbot. See table for two polarity and color standards. This cable will work, but you must be careful of the polarity of the connection. (Thermocouples must be connected with the correct polarity)
