I've had it for a month and survived two trips. That's great! I can plug it into my caravan's cigarette lighter socket and charge my devices. Or connect it to your RV battery and watch TV without running the generator! (However, I will say that this is a little inconvenient as these batteries are under steps to go outside, but that is a different issue and has nothing to do with the inverter). This is a very well made product. Automatically turns off when the voltage drops. I've had it for almost a year and it has survived exterior work (although not designed for it) and a short circuit when I accidentally reversed polarity when connecting to the battery (the fuses supplied are correctly blown to prevent damage).
