Getting anything from this massager depends almost entirely on what type of tension you're trying to release. the hinge of my jaw, up to my temples, but not to my temples - instead the tension extends to and around my ears and up to the crown of my head and the back of my head. All of these muscles are involved in clenching the jaw, and I have a bad habit of clenching my jaw when I'm stressed and also when I'm sleeping. Imagine what happens when you clench your jaw: the muscles at that angle to the back of your head contract and contract. Essentially, part of your face is stretched by muscles that extend to the back of your head. Essentially, your head is being compressed from front to back and top to bottom. This massager inflates to compress the area above the eyes and the back of the head. There really is no lateral compression. It presses hard on your temples, and the two small knots on the back under the base of the skull alternate vibrations and can be felt during inflated compression shocks. However, in general, it doesn't target my specific areas that I need. The pressure on the areas around my eyes feels good, but since I was looking for something that could take the pressure off my jaw, the Breo configuration didn't suit my needs. It's less of a "head massager" and more of a "face/sinus/temples compression massager." Temple, this thing will probably be HEAVEN for you. It is very solidly made. I was surprised at how durable the device seemed - the wearable, the cable, and the attached handset. It will knock off stars because the "vibration" in the back really sounds more like an ineffective buzz than a useful massage vibration. and I turn it off; in addition, the device is quite noisy and the supplied headphones and sound are not very good. I don't feel the declared warming at all. You certainly couldn't lie down with it, you could only sit down on a comfortable chair, like the ones I use most of the time. Setting it up for the first few uses can be a little frustrating as it's difficult to tell which voltage and treble setting is most important to you until the unit is already up and running. At this point it can be difficult to fine-tune, but further on the plus side, turn the dials until the compression is firm enough. It doesn't seem to affect the device at all, and it still feels very secure - and does more for me when very snug.
