This DVD player has some very annoying features. First, after a very short pause, the player decides to turn off the power. It doesn't have a resume function when it's turned back on, it just starts at the beginning of the DVD and forces you to go through previews, intros, etc. that you think you've stopped. Second, the power switch is mechanical (not electronic) so you have to set it to the correct position for the remote to work, and sometimes the remote won't turn the device on (even with the power switch on). ), so you have to go to the device, press the power button, wait a few seconds and then turn it back on, after which the remote will work again. There are many inexpensive DVD players that are much easier to use. I recommend buying this device.
