Sylvania Player Upconvert Digital Display Review

This works when turned off. Powered by my TV's HDMI ports. That might not be good for my TV. I'm so afraid of it that I leave it disabled. You want one, I almost give it to you. Still works if you call it working. I once had a 40€ higher LG. Sylvania gets 1 point and LG gets 1000 points. The higher the better. I don't know anything about their line of products at Sylvania, but I may never buy another product from them. I can't stress enough how bad this DVD player is. Save yourself, don't skimp

This DVD player has some very annoying features. First, after a very short pause, the player decides to turn off the power. It doesn't have a resume function when it's turned back on, it just starts at the beginning of the DVD and forces you to go through previews, intros, etc. that you think you've stopped. Second, the power switch is mechanical (not electronic) so you have to set it to the correct position for the remote to work, and sometimes the remote won't turn the device on (even with…

This item was delivered on 12th January 2017. I unpacked it from the Amazon box and left it in the factory packaging. Both boxes arrived in good condition. I didn't try to use a DVD player because I also needed a TV and haven't bought one yet.
