Broke after 3 months

My child loves these glasses because they are comfortable to wear. BUT, the tip of one of the temples (the part that goes over the ear, I don't know what you call it) just broke off exposing the metal underneath. So now we've taped it on to keep it from scratching, but I'm guessing they won't be parting with it for less than six months. upset
