I don't usually write many negative reviews but I tried using this charging case with my new iPhone 12 mini along with the USB-C to Lightning cable that came with it, which Apple has provided. and I found an electrical problem with it. I connected the charging case to a surge protector, connected the cable that came with my new iPhone 12 mini to it, and then connected it to my phone. I saw a little electricity running through my phone so it scared me and I turned it off for fear of using the lock. I also tried it on an outlet just to make sure it wasn't a dirty surge protector and making a weird buzz or something. After that I didn't believe him and decided to return the money. I bought this bundle because new iPhones don't come with chargers and it was over half the price of an Apple charger, so I decided to give it a try. I was a bit worried about the price but I've bought chargers and cables that were generic Revain before and never had a problem so I figured it would be safe. I didn't feel safe using this device after trying to plug it in, so I returned it and got an Apple branded device instead, just to be on the safe side. It didn't seem to affect my phone in any way, although I did feel electricity when I picked up the phone while it was plugged into the box. My phone is still working fine so luckily as far as I know it wasn't damaged but I was still scared of using the block again.
