Excellent suitcase for its price. It doesn't look as pretty as the picture until you put a speaker in it. The soft light material is actually great. Yes, it does muffle the speaker's sound when you're using it in an enclosure, but not necessarily in a bad way. I'm an audiophile and I immediately heard what sounded like a change in EQ. No, this is not a speaker for music lovers. But I'm also a simple person who loves comfort. Putting on the case dampened the highs, but made the bass and mids richer. He turned the volume down about 2 notches so I turned it up. If the speaker is already too quiet to stand it might not be worth using a case but overall I like the sound with or without it, it's just different and that's a good thing! This case isn't really needed as the speaker is pretty damn good for a sub $40 speaker. That's why I love capitalism, I wanted a decent, not exactly audiophile but nice little speaker with plenty of battery life for portability and this case is a great complement to this speaker.
