Review on Brentwood KT-1780 Stainless Steel Cordless Electric Kettle - Efficient and Stylish Hot Water Solution by Amy Padilla

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Love it, love it, makes my iced tea a breeze! Pure stainless steel with no exposed heating element or plastic on the water!

It's very quick and efficient for boiling water for my iced tea. I really love this teapot and I confess that I worked on it for weeks before deciding to buy this particular teapot. (I take my tea VERY seriously!) (smiles) The coolest thing about it is that the kettle sits on a small black plate with a heating element in the middle of the plate, which also has a power cord attached to it. Plate. The kettle itself is completely wireless, with a switch on the handle in a very handy spot. You place the kettle on the burner to heat the water, so the water is absolutely NOT exposed to the plastic or the heating element. The only plastic is the lid. There is a water meter on the back under the handle and I didn't quite understand how it works as you can't see the water meter inside the kettle itself so it's also not exposed to your water like I am. I'm concerned about boiling water from plastic, but that's really not a problem with this kettle. I love it and would buy it again. I wish I had bought it sooner. The only difference I've noticed is that next time I'll probably buy a bigger kettle because I drink A LOT of tea every day. I'm a real proponent of exposing my water to plastic, electroblocks, etc. There is nothing inside this kettle but pure brushed stainless steel. Love it and I'm sure you will too. Just be careful not to fill it to the spout or it will boil away if you don't keep an eye on it. By the way, it also turns off! What more could you want from a kettle. I love my!
