I decided to buy this for fun on recommendation of a large nail-related YouTuber, and it's honestly fantastic. Emery boards and even the included file on nail clippers always get dull, but this hasn't gotten dull even after several months of use. Because it's glass, it's really easy to wash, and I don't need to worry about rust either. It's somewhat thick (1/8") compared to the nail clipper's files so it's the tiniest bit tricky to get the corners of your nails, but the abrasive part extends all the way across the surface making the process easier. Lastly, I was worried that this being so good at filing nails it would be damaging to the skin, but it's not.
