Review on ProMariner 63100 ProNautic P Battery Charger - Helm Remote with LCD Display by Shane Tomko

Nice display if you just want a display. However, at least on my current ProNautic 1240P charger model, this remote control CANNOT be used to program the charger or change its settings. Oh, it has a "Settings" button, but you can't use it to change anything on the charger - just some of the display functions on the remote itself. The only reason I bought this remote was because my charger was in a hard box is buried. access bay, and I expected the remote to offer the same functionality as the front panel of the charger. nope Good status indicator, but no customization options. Maybe ProNautic works better with other chargers, but with my 1240P it's useless for me. going back.
