I recommend 3M Scotch-Weld it's great. I had to re-tap the metal stops on the windows of my old car. I used to take it to the local body shop and they say they hired the best mechanic. These stops failed after 2 or 3 window up/down cycles. So I decided to do the work myself, but first I needed to find an epoxy that I could trust. This one did it. Now, 8 months later, those window regulator stops are still holding up and my windows, once adjusted, are no longer in danger of banging against the roof when the door is closed because the stroke is too great.
