The thing is the mother of all aquarium scrapers. I've used a few others and this one beats them in terms of magnet strength and cleaning speed. Some find it difficult to move over glass, especially with thinner glass and/or a glass scraper attachment. But make no mistake - it works fine. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is that the glass (metal) scraper attachment didn't give very good results. I ran a file over it lightly and then added a slight bend in the middle which completely solved the scraper issue. I have hard water and it leaves deposits on the top of the tank. I installed the scraper head and it did its job quickly after making the above adjustments.
