Turn them on and start exercising.
They are really good for training. They sit reasonably well in the ear and are sweatproof. I took them on a plane and the lack of noise cancellation was obvious. If you're going to be in a noisy environment, I recommend the noise-cancelling model, otherwise they're worth the money.
