SBS Hoof Liquid works great!
I love this stuff and have been using it for over a year. I have a thoroughbred racer who is prone to abscesses because we have a lot of gravel sand and he has loose, soft paws. This stuff was really important. It usually goes through a full forging cycle without developing an abscess. In cases where he does have abscesses, they are usually much smaller and therefore less painful. Now I won't be without.
