Review on 🪟 Gila Privacy Control Rice Paper Window Film - DIY Static Cling, Easy Install, Size: 3ft x 6.5ft (36in x 78in), Covers 19.5 sq ft by Lori Kurtz

I bought a roll of this window film to put on the easement windows in my basement. I live in a city and the basement windows are so exposed that you can watch TV through the windows especially at night. Unfortunately, there wasn't enough space for curtains, so I had to look for another solution. The Gila window film was the perfect way to create privacy in the basement while still letting in ambient light for my dog during the day and while it's difficult I would definitely recommend (and recommend!) it. A word of caution: the app is difficult to manage. Reading other reviews on Amazon I realized that my windows need to be very clean before attempting any application. My house is old and the windows are decades old. I got them as clean as I could but in the end some corners didn't stay down due to residual dust in the corners. I highly recommend watching their YouTube videos when applying and taking your time when applying. If I had a brand new window I could see that it runs fine, but I have to deduct a star because of the curved corners.
