The product is the most common, it could be worse.

I would not say that you can 100% focus on it.
But as an addition to a conventional thermometer, it will do. Especially when the child is sick.
Has some pros:
It is convenient to measure the temperature of a sleeping child.
Its cons:
Gives inaccurate readings. You have to measure several times. And sometimes measure again with a regular thermometer.
