Review on Samson MS200 Studio Monitor Stands by Tim Clark

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Cheap coasters: Furniture

Hello. I don't normally write reviews at all but thought I'd share some opinions on this as studio booths are very important to producers. These stands are designed to fit 6" and smaller studio monitors. If you have a KRK VST or Yamaha HS80 series DO NOT BUY THESE! They will not fit at all. They are designed for small speakers. Optimal for 5" for a perfect fit .2.Be careful when you order here. When I received my package. The screws were deformed and I had to personally go to LOWES to buy new screws to fix the plate to the stand.3.The base can Be unstable Make sure you tighten all the screws on the bottom firmly and evenly or you will end up with a very unbalanced wobbly stand (carpet works best, I tested it on tile too) 4. If you want to spend a little more "I highly recommend the SMS6000 stands. They are much sturdier but cost $40 more. Well worth the investment. Hooray
