Not heavy and too small platform

The stand is too weak for the KRK Rokit 5 and there is nothing "heavy". The platform is about 2/3 the size of the speaker, and the screw that goes with it is also relatively small, making it unsafe. Arguably the most annoying thing is that the stem is attached to the base with a thumbscrew that prevents the base from sitting flat on the ground. This is a problem if you have hardwood floors and don't want to use carpet clips.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • There are disadvantages

Good racks, no instructions, damaged screw.

I recommend these stands for lighter monitors like my M-Audio BX5as. Pros: It took about 10 minutes to assemble. My room immediately sounds better because my monitors are further apart. Cons: Opening the box damaged one of the threads in the kit that secures the base. So I bought a replacement screw at a hardware store for less than $1. There are also no instructions in the box or online. Besides, they work and I'm satisfied.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Appearance

Don't be fooled by their rating. I had a pair of ELAC B6 speakers and they wobbled so much they looked like they were caught in a muddy boat in the middle of a storm on Lake Superior. Nevertheless, I let them and put on them another set of very light and cheap speakers. They're fine, they're still wobbly, but at least I'm not worried about them tipping over when a herd of garbage trucks drives through my neighborhood.

Pros
  • Excellent Overall
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Excellent product good price

Monitor stand received in good condition, assembly is easy (no instructions but not particularly necessary. I use these for a pair of M - Audio AV40 monitor speakers, and they fit perfectly on the stands (You could use some sort of foam pad for the speakers.) Mine stand on hardwood floors, but I still had to put the spikes on the carpet since the wing nut that secures the telescoping stand sticks out about a half inch from the base from the bottom.Money.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Good but not great

Like a circus bear on a beach ball

$60 for it? "Difficult conditions"? I had a Samson Rubicon R5as on my desk and decided to get stands to free up some space and provide some isolation and when they said "Perfect for the R6a" I thought I was in good hands but that's it a joke. The platform on which the speakers are mounted is smaller than my phone, and the thin stand doesn't even fit a barrel mic. If you need a greeting card stand or Yankee candles then this is the perfect product for you, but putting up powered monitors is a…

Cheap coasters: Furniture

Hello. I don't normally write reviews at all but thought I'd share some opinions on this as studio booths are very important to producers. These stands are designed to fit 6" and smaller studio monitors. If you have a KRK VST or Yamaha HS80 series DO NOT BUY THESE! They will not fit at all. They are designed for small speakers. Optimal for 5" for a perfect fit .2.Be careful when you order here. When I received my package. The screws were deformed and I had to personally go to LOWES to buy new…
