After watching YouTube videos and tutorials I wanted a cut to frame my face including shading. I was shocked when videos recommended very expensive scissors. I looked at the Revain reviews and ordered this kit. The two types of scissors do the job well. My hair is growing fast and I don't want to waste my time and money going to a salon. The stylist I went to a few years ago got a nice haircut but couldn't replicate it(?). I described what I wanted to several stylists, even brought photos, but they never got it right. First time I tried these scissors including serrated scissors for shading, I was pleased with the result. As I continue to use them, I expect to improve my cutting and blending technique. The comb is also handy for getting rid of tangles, smoothing hair and holding strands in place for a clean and neat cut.
