Was broken right out of the box. I sent it back for a refund. The poet's hat was broken because of the pencil holder. The teeth can be felt as they are unscrewed to place the wire inside. I've had several different brands over the years and this is the first thing that happened. Also, don't expect customer service from Alvin. I called them to see if I could get a new retainer and they told me I had to go through the seller. I then asked if I could buy this part and again I was told no. So thank you not so much customer service at Alvin. As mentioned, I had to return it for a refund without being able to use it.
