This is exactly what I needed and wanted. Lots of guesswork to get the proportions you want. The instructions are mostly useless because they don't really tell you anything. It's not exactly when you need fine work, but for transposing and "artistic stuff" I wanted it for, it's very good. Once you get the size coordinates, you're good to go.

Pros
  • STABILITY AND PRECISION - Includes table clamp and four spare wires for stability and accuracy.
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Alvin isn't very good at customer service.

Was broken right out of the box. I sent it back for a refund. The poet's hat was broken because of the pencil holder. The teeth can be felt as they are unscrewed to place the wire inside. I've had several different brands over the years and this is the first thing that happened. Also, don't expect customer service from Alvin. I called them to see if I could get a new retainer and they told me I had to go through the seller. I then asked if I could buy this part and again I was told no. So thank

Cons
  • High price

For the money I expected much better quality.

I'm really disappointed in the poor quality considering it cost almost $30. When I read that it's made of wood I thought it would be more durable. I'm almost afraid to push it because I'm afraid it will break. It's like two layers of cork. The holes are not reinforced with metal, so threading in different sized screws will most likely result in them becoming too loose to stay in place. The only thing that bothers me about metal parts is the lead holder. The prongs used to hold the leash don't…

Pros
  • WOOD WOODEN HANDLES - Featuring seasoned hardwood handles for durability.
Cons
  • No performance
