I recently moved and my cat started to stress eat and was having scarfing and vomiting issues. I have been using the 1/2 cup green bowl and so far her issue has been resolved. She is able to eat from the bowl just fine and seems calmer in general. I am very happy with the results and if anything changes i will update this review. At this time I highly recommend this to use for cats even though it seems to mostly be used for dogs.

We love everything about these dog bowls. It's the perfect size for our labs -- one is a puppy 6 months old and one that's 12 years old. I had to return two other bowls because they were far too low and the obstacles were too close making it all but impossible for the dogs to eat anything. These bows have just the right depth and obstacles. And they are heavier than the last bowls so they can't push them around the floor. I have a 10 lb chihuahua that scarfs his food down in like 30 seconds everyday. He doesn't throw it back up but he inhales it and looks around for more. I was looking for a bowl for smaller dogs. This does hold 1/2 a cup. I gave him 1/4 cup to see how it held up. It took him 2 minutes to get through that. Definitely an improvement. I have tried several bowls like this to stop my Shih Tzu from gobbling her food. This bowl was perfect. She has to work around the posts thus stopping gulping

This product is awesome! My cat eats so fast then begs for more food as if he hasn’t been fed. He swallows his food whole without chewing. Thankfully he doesn’t barf. This bowl has slowed him down and it makes it work for it. He still begs a little but not near as bad as he did before. It works great for his evening meal I give him soft food. He seems satisfied and actually digests his food. I didn’t give is 5 stars because the bowl does slide. But it’s designed in such a way that he isn’t able

The dish had great suction on the bottom so it does not slide. It's also not that complicated for our Silkey to maneuver food out of it. Some other dishes were much too challenging and she stopped eating until I put the food on the floor for her. Love this dish!

The bowls are very sturdy -- I've had two bowls for years! One of my dogs will only eat from the blue bowl! It keeps them from gulping down their food.

I found this bowl at a thrift store quite some time ago but in short order managed to drop it, breaking it. I found it on Best Buy, ordering one. A week later dropped it again but no damage. I was going a little crazy trying to find a slow feeder bowl that actually listed how many cups the bowl held. The first feeding our female Chihuahua that wolfs her food down in under 20 seconds, had to think about how to get it all out quickly. It actually took her a bit to figure it out and by then my other two were done so that was my goal. However fast forward a couple of feedings, and she has figured out how to move right along. Tried this for a snarf-n-barfing cat and he's pretty unhappy with it. Good, maybe he'll make himself sick less often - but it is hard to feed him beside his brother-cat because he far prefers to steal from his brother than eat his food from the bowl. He also gets his nose dirty and gives up - leaving food in the bowl. I'm not sure how much is "there might be better cat versions" or how much is "this cat." Worth a shot if you're on the fence.

Easy to lift off floor using cut outs for hands, much heavier than other slow down bowls, and our new pup can get all the food out slowly without frustration. Hasn’t flipped it yet!

I bought the first one & had to buy another for my other dog. It slows their eating. The bowls are beautiful. I would highly recommend.

This bowl did slow the her eating down some. There are more intricate bowls that have slowed her eating down more. May take longer for pets to get accustomed to using.

What can I say, it’s a bowl… a weird bowl. I don’t know if it slows down my pups eating. She opens her mouth and sucks everything into that black hole she creates leading to her little belly. She’s usually done in about 2-3 seconds.

My puppy is a vivacious eater! Even though there are rubber feet, she still scoots the dish around a bit. It is low in height, so it doesn’t tip over like a round higher feeding dish would. She is eating slower, which is why I ordered it. Ease of cleaning is good, with a soapy sponge, as a brush doesn’t fit easily in the ‘maze’. Over all really happy with the purchase.

Takes my dog at least twice as long to eat as it used to, which is exactly what I wanted. It is easy to wash, just a bit more difficult due to design. I just let is soak for about 10 minutes and wipe it out. Works as intended!

I had the same bowl for both my 20lb dogs for 11years. The medium size is perfect for them. If I hadn’t drop the bowl on my tile floor and crack the bowl I probably would of had for the life of my dogs. I love these bowls because they slow down my little guys from gobbling down their food. So glad I was able to find a replacement.

The bowl is great. However, my little fella (25 pound shitzsu mix) has figured how to still consume his food rather quickly. It has slowed him somewhat. Good news is that he’s has not thrown up his food from eating too quickly, so I guess the bowl is doing its job. I do like the weight and sturdiness of the dish.
