This is a good idea and well intentioned, HOWEVER the filters that fit in pockets are not big enough for the air you breathe to actually flow LONGER THROUGH the filter itself than it does around and through the filter the fabric of the mask. PLUS the mask doesn't fit snugly on the face and is definitely too small for an average sized man. The vent valve, designed to quickly release stale air and reduce filter consumption, is a good idea, but since the mask doesn't fit snugly against the face, it becomes almost useless. Also, ONE of the two masks I received was poorly hemmed and torn at the edge. In the midst of a pandemic, it's safe to assume the sewing staff were at their limit, I guess. I hope that the manufacturer can solve these problems, even if the end result is a bit more expensive.
