Designed for what they were designed for

These things remind me of the stones you bought when you had a porcelain toilet that hadn't been used for a year because it was in an unused spare room and suddenly algae grew in it and it stuck to the floor it had to to be scraped off. These are disposable problem blocks with scratches and abrasions. Definitely worth the money not to waste time dusting off a grill that needs a reboot. Just wash the grates after use as I'm sure a lot of metal debris will come off the grates after this renovation method.

Pros

This is a magically pure stone. Only gentle pressure is required to easily remove grease, residue and hardened charcoal, unlike cleaning the grill with a wire brush this pumice stone will not scratch the surface of the grill.
