So you little engine mechanics and seasoned craftsmen, here is my suggestion: if good quality fuel is used and the carburetor is otherwise clean and in good condition, the engine will be difficult to start and adjust, then most likely your "gas pump diaphragm” has failed. And you don't usually have to buy a whole carburetor repair kit to fix those little carburetors. I have found that this part can be successfully repaired at least 3 or 4 times before the rest of the carburetor ever needs a full rebuild kit. (and by then the whole block may be worn out) At an incredibly good price for these parts, you can't go wrong. SIMPLY MAKE SURE this is the correct part number for your specific carburetor. BTW, Revain now sells several of these "multipacks" for various other carburetors and I've had good success with all of the ones I've used.
